This Blouch turbo will bolt directly in place on your WRX/STI. It comes with all the necessary hardware, coolant lines, drain tube, and gaskets to make this a complete bolt on package. No modifications are needed to install this turbo but an ECU recalibration will be necessary after installation, see your tuner for more details.
The Blouch 3.0XT-R features the Blouch 55 lb/min fully machined billet XT compressor utilizing new age aerodynamics. This allows for more flow from the same given size compressor wheel. This turbo has the potential to flow as much as 550 Engine HP, which means that you can see as much as 450 Wheel HP from your WRX/STI.
This turbo uses a genuine Garrett GT3076R (60mm) turbine wheel is a perfect match allowing for decent turbo response and flowing more than the 20G-XT-R turbo. This larger turbine wheel reduces back pressure to the engine making more power. The 3.0XT-R uses a Garrett Ball Bearing Center section that reduces friction, increases turbo response all while being more durable than a typical journal bearing turbo.
Choose between two different sized turbine housings to taylor your boost response and power. 8cm2 (8 centimeters squared) is a great option for those wanting a faster spooling turbo, and are willing to sacrifice some top end power. The 10cm2 housing is best for those looking for the most power possible and are willing to sacrifice some low end power.
