This Blouch turbo will bolt directly in place on your WRX/ STI. It comes with all the necessary hardware, coolant lines, drain tube, and gaskets to make this a complete bolt on package. No modifications are needed to install this turbo but an ECU recalibration will be necessary after installation, see your tuner for more details.
The Blouch TD05H-16G-XT features the Blouch 41 lb/min fully machined billet XT compressor utilizing new age aerodynamics. This allows for more flow from the same given size compressor wheel. This turbo has the potential to flow as much as 410 Engine HP, which means that you can see as much as 300 Wheel HP from your WRX.
The Mitsubishi TD05H turbine wheel is a perfect match allowing for fast turbo response and flowing more than the stock STI or WRX turbo. This turbo utilizes a new genuine Mitsubishi Journal bearing system. These have been proven to work flawless on these turbos, and is the same technology used on your stock STI/ WRX turbo.
The Blouch 16G-XT comes with a 7cm2 (7 centimeters squared) which is perfect for 2.0L engines wanting a faster spooling turbo, and are willing to sacrifice some top end power. There are other options available, but we suggest stepping up to the Blouch 18G-XT if you are considering wanting more HP than the 16G-XT can handle.
